A Legionella Risk Assessment is a comprehensive survey during which a building’s hot & cold water system is inspected to determine the risks associated with Legionella bacteria colonisation and any conditions that can promote bacterial growth.
Once the survey is complete, a report is produced outlining remedial actions or recommendations to prevent, minimise and control the risk of Legionella.
What's included in a Legionella Risk Assessment?
We will undertake a complete survey of the premises for multiple factors, such as:
Poor cold water tank and/or hot water cylinder conditions
Contamination and standing water
Temperature profiling of hot and cold outlets and feeds to showers & baths
Schematic drawing of the hot and cold water system
Photos of all accessible elements of the system
We then deliver a comprehensive report outlining any risks within your water systems and any actions required to meet compliance with the HSE’s HSG 274 guidelines.
